A 1959 ink painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This abstract work depicts frenetic black lines intersecting. Signed and dated to the lower right, the painting is displayed in a gold tone wooden frame and a gray-blue mat.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
