A 1962 Kukkopullo glass decanter by the Finnish designer Kaj Franck (1911-1989) for Nuutajärvi Notsjö. Made in Finland, the decanter has a rooster-shaped stopper with a speckled body and a clear glass tail and comb. The stopper has a cork at the bottom. The decanter is made of clear glass and is signed "K. Frank Nuutajärvi Notsjö - 62" to the underside.
Measurements:
4.5" x 12.5" x 4.5".
Condition notes:
There is a small, barely perceptible chip on one of the tail feathers. The same tail feather also has a small bubble in the glass that is open to the exterior to the glass. Minor scratches to the underside. Cork is slightly shrunken.
