A watercolor and ink abstract painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed to the lower right, the piece depicts a vibrant cityscape. Densely populated by dwellings and palm trees the painting depicts winding roads and greenery under a light blue sky. The painting is presented behind cream mat in a wood frame.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
