A 1965 oil on canvas painting by Indianapolis artist Steve Redman (born 1944). The piece features gestural organic forms in green, brown, and blue that come together attractively in this abstract landscape. The painting is presented in a natural wood frame and signed “S. Redman” and dated “1965” to the verso with a Woodstock Art Gallery Exhibition tag. 

Born in Poseyville, Indiana, Steve Redman's artistic journey began with an unwavering certainty that can only be described as destiny. Redman attended the John Herron Art Institute for his BFA, Indiana University Bloomington for his MFA, and currently owns and operates his business, Redman Art Restoration. His work has been exhibited throughout the wider Indianapolis area, Chicago, New York, Provincetown, and more, receiving numerous accolades.
