A 1973 acrylic on canvas airbrush painting by Indianapolis artist Steve Redman (born 1944). This large-scale painting uses an airbrush technique, creating a gradation between colors. Primary colors are mainly used to compose the lines in this work, creating a woven dimensional effect. The painting is signed “Steven Redman 9-73” to the verso and is displayed in a black wooden frame.

Born in Poseyville, Indiana, Steve Redman's artistic journey began with an unwavering certainty that can only be described as destiny. Redman attended the John Herron Art Institute for his BFA, Indiana University Bloomington for his MFA, and currently owns and operates his business, Redman Art Restoration. His work has been exhibited throughout the wider Indianapolis area, Chicago, New York, Provincetown, and more, receiving numerous accolades.

Condition notes:

Two dents, one to top right corner and other to right center edge. Paint chipped to right center edge dent. Wear to edges of canvas. Some scuffs to frame. Split wood to top of center support. Water damage to bottom right of verso.
