Gestural lines come together to create a vibrant abstract landscape with mountains in the background and fields filled with flowers in the foreground. Unframed, the painting is signed "hilson" to the bottom right corner and titled verso.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
