A 1986 abstract acrylic on paper landscape painting titled, Smokey Mt. Wildflowers by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Rhythmic brushstrokes come together to form a vibrant view of a floral filled prairie grounded by distant mountains and a teal sky. Signed to the front right corner, the painting is presented behind white mat in a gold-tone wooden frame. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
