A graphite and watercolor drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This work depicts a horse rearing on its hind legs against a taupe background. Signed to the upper right, the work is displayed in a black frame and a white mat.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
