An ink and watercolor drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This abstract work depicts a Greco-Roman figure reclining and wearing a crown of laurels. Signed to the lower center, the drawing is displayed in a white mat and a black frame.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.

17” x 21” x 1.25” (frame); 10” x 12.5” (sight).
Condition notes:
Minor wear to frame. Two stains on the paper, one on upper right edge and the other to lower right corner. Some stray smudges and marks to the paper. Other minor wear to the paper.
