A 1986 Modernist coffee table designed by the American furniture designer Ralph K. Rye (born 1925). The table has a rectangular glass top that rests on a metal, black laminate, and wooden base. Shaped like in the form a triangle, the black laminate base has a wooden piece at the top and on either side with a row of seven metal rods extending on the side to support the glass top. The underside of the base is marked "Original Design by Ralph K. Rye 1986."

 

Measurements:

48” x 17.25” x 24” (entire table); 40” x 16.75” x 14.25” (base only).

Condition notes:

Scratches and scuffs to the glass. The corners of the glass are slightly rounded/ground down on the underside. Some small chips/nicks to the glass corners. Slight dimple on the top angle of the laminate near the edge. Other scratches and wear to the base.
