A 1961 ink drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). From the artist's Structure Series, this abstract work depicts a variety of layered and stacked shapes. Signed and dated to the lower right, the drawing is displayed in a silver tone metal frame and a cream mat.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.

Condition notes:
Some scuffs and scratches to frame. Discoloration/staining and toning to paper, most notably to the right side of the composition. Minor waviness to paper.
