A 1980s acrylic painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed to the lower center, this abstract painting depicts a fragmented landscape in blocks of green, blue, yellow, and red. The painting is displayed in a black wooden frame.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.

Condition notes:
Some craquelure present as well as two creases in the canvas to the upper right. Some minor small chips to the paint. Stray drip of varnish to the lower right corner. Some scuffs to the frame.
