A mid-century ceramic lava glaze table lamp designed by Italian artist and designer Aldo Londi (1911-2003) for Bitossi. Made in Italy and often attributed to Italian designer and architect Ettore Sottsass, the white bulbous lamp features a green lava and matte black stripe glaze. The lamp base is signed "B125 Italy" to the underside.
Measurements:
4.5” x 15” x 3.5” (top of socket); 21” (top of harp).
Condition notes:
Some age appropriate wear. Patina present to the metal, missing finial, yellowing to the cord. The lamp is in working condition.
