A mid-century abstract sculpture titled, The Spartan, by Hungarian-American sculptor Endre Vitez. Composed of walnut, the carved abstract sculpture forms the shape of a Spartan warrior helmet and rests upon a rectangular wood base. The sculpture is signed “VITEZ” to the back and the artist tag is adhered to the underside.

Condition notes:
Wood has natural cracking that has been filled by the artist. Other intentional distressing and age appropriate wear including scuffs and scratches.
