A 1960s limited edition lithograph titled Salt IV by the Russian-American artist Adja Yunkers (1900-1983). This abstract work features a black and white form against a tan background. Signed to the lower right, the print is numbered 89/100R to the lower left. The lithograph is displayed in a wooden frame and a white mat.

Adja Yunkers was born in the Russian Empire and studied art in Berlin, Paris, London, and Leningrad. Yunkers published and edited both the ARS and Creation art magazines when he lived in Stockholm during the 1940s. He moved to the United States thereafter, and is widely known for his Salt and Skies of Venice lithograph series created in the 1960s. Yunkers works are held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Guggenheim Museum, the Hirshorn Museum, the Cleveland Museum of Art, as well as others.
