Dorothy Hafner 1988 Postmodern Candlestick Holder

A 1988 Postmodern ceramic candlestick holder designed by American ceramist Dorothy Hafner (born 1952). A geometric teal and black stripe design accents the side of the "X" shaped dimensional candlestick holder. The holder is signed "Hafner '88" to the underside. 

Ceramist and glass artist Dorothy Hafner completed her graduate work at Skidmore College in 1974. She has designed tableware for Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, and Rosenthal. Two of Hafner's works are featured at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

Condition notes:

Chips and nicks on the feet. Some firing cracks present to the interior corners.
