A signed ink and watercolor painting and collage on paper by the American artist Reginald Murray Pollack (1924-2001). Dated 1958 and predominately black and white, the painting features a paper collage of an abstract interior scene. Sketched figures are depicted among a well designed interior space of furnishings and decor. Signed “Pollack” to the lower right and dated 7/8/58 to lower left, the painting is presented in a wooden frame behind cream mat.

American painter Reginald Murray Pollack studied at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere and was the founding member of Galerie Huit in Paris. He was known for his theme based and metaphorical paintings. Pollack's work is represented in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Stanford University, and the New Orleans Museum of Art.
