Emil Milan Signed Khaya Wood Divided Bowl with Sterling Feet

A divided console bowl carved by American woodworker Emil Milan (1922-1985). Carved from African mahogany, also known as Khaya wood, the bowl is divided into three parts and stands on three weighted sterling silver feet below. The underside of the bowl is signed "E Milan" and "Khaya," the sterling feet are marked "Sterling Cement Filled." 

 

Measurements:

17” W x 3” H x 11.75” D. 

Condition notes:

A few small nicks to the rim. Other small scuffs and scratches to wood. Other signs of wear to feet.
