Harry Hilson Signed 1961 Abstract Ink Drawing


A 1961 abstract ink drawing by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This line drawing depicts an intermingling group of various shapes in abstract form. The drawing is presented behind a white mat in a red metal frame and is signed and dated "hilson 61" to the bottom right. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.


18.25” x 21.25” x 1” (frame); 11.5” x 15.5” (sight).

Condition notes:

Scratches and scuffs to the frame and plexiglass. Some toning to the paper. Ink smudge upper right side.
