A signed abstract watercolor of a fish by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). A long red fish with black details is depicted in the center of the composition with a white border separating it from the yellow and blue watercolor background. Signed and dated to 1966 on the bottom middle, the painting is displayed in a white frame and behind a white mat. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
