Harry Hilson Signed 1973 Structure Series Serigraph


An abstract artist's proof serigraph print by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed and dated to the lower right, this work features abstract shapes of dark brown, purple, and red that fit together on a rectangular plane. Unframed, this piece is unframed and is also marked "SS47" to the lower edge. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.

Some foxing and discoloration to the paper. There are several creases and small tears around the margins of the paper.
