An abstract ink drawing titled Horse and Warrior Riders by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This work depicts an abstract horse trotting through a battle ground. Titled to the lower left and signed to the lower right, the piece is displayed in a gold tone wooden frame and behind a white mat.  

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.

Condition notes:

Scratches and wear to the frame’s finish. Toning and some other discoloration to the paper. Some stray smudges in the drawing.
