A limited edition lithograph titled Prophecy by American artist John Axton (born 1947). Signed and numbered "71/75," this hazy scene depicts a Native American wrapped in a blanket standing in front of a teepee. The figure appears to be gazing toward a crow in the foreground. Neutral in color, this work is comprised of browns, black, and white.
John Axton graduated from Southern Illinois University's commercial art program. He moved from Illinois to New Mexico in 1979 and takes influence from Southwestern culture. Axton is known for minimal landscapes that create a feeling of peace.

Irregular edges that show signs of wear including some bends and creases (most notably bottom left). Slight crease/imperfection in paper near the teepee on the left. Other age appropriate wear present.
