Lester Boronda Artisan Metal Vase with Stand
An artisan metal vase with stand made by the American artist Lester Boronda (1886-1953). This tapered vase is held in an iron stand with four legs. The stand has been painted a pale green and has two leaf accents on two sides.
Born in California, Boronda studied art at the Mark Hopkins Institute in San Francisco under Arthur Matthews. He later attended the Art Students League in New York where he studied under Frank DuMond.
