A pair of sterling silver earrings designed by the Mexican sculptor and designer Sergio Bustamante (1934-2014). These earrings are in the shape of a sun with long wavy rays and a human face. The back of each earring is marked “MEX 925” and “Sergio Bustamante."
Sergio Bustamante is known for his surrealist sculpture and portrayal of animals. Wood, metal, papier-mâché, and ceramics were favored working material during Bustamante's artistic career.
Measurements:
1.5” x 1.5” x .5” (singe earrings); 0.79 ozt (weight of both earrings).
