A terragraph print by the Chinese-American contemporary artists ShanZuo (born 1952) and DaHuang Zhou (born 1957) who go by the moniker Zhou Brothers. Titled The Traveler, this abstract work depicts a dark silhouetted figure walking amidst an array of pastel biomorphic shapes and brushwork-like designs. Signed to the lower right, the print is numbered 92/165 to the lower left and is unframed.
ShanZuo and DaHuang Zhou, known as the Zhou brothers, studied art in China. They contributed to the contemporary art movement in China before moving to the United States in the 1980s. The Zhou brothers works are influenced by Chinese cave paintings and the Western world. Their combined efforts have gained the Zhou brothers numerous awards and praise.
