Theodore Gall Signed 1976 Abstract Bronze Sculpture of a Nude Figure


A 1976 abstract bronze sculpture of a nude figure by the American artist Theodore Gall (born 1941). Signed and dated “T. Gall 76", this bronze depicts a nude figure posing contrapposto with a large circular form cast under one of its arms. The figure looks to the side, seemingly unbothered. 

Theodore "Ted" Gall studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the American Academy of Art. He began his career in the 1960s, pursuing animation initially, before focusing on bronze.
