Ulrica Hydman-Vallien Kosta Boda Cocoo Bird Bowl

A bowl in the shape of a bird from the Cocoo series designed by Swedish artist Ulrica Hydman (1938-2018) for Kosta Boda. This bowl is a blue-green with black speckled glass and a bird head affixed to the side. A Kosta Boda sticker is affixed to the side of the bowl. The bowl is signed “Kosta Boda Ulrica Hy 2050112” to the underside.
Ulrica Hydman Vallien specialized in stained glass and spent some time working for Kosta Boda. She was one of only 50 artists to be selected in designing pieces for British Airways. Today, her work in found in museums worldwide, including the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, and more.
