A 1988 abstract mixed media painting by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled Sea Grasses, this colorful work depicts a cloudy sky above calm waters bordered by a pink, green, and brown landscape dotted with clumps of sea grass. Unframed, the painting is signed to the lower right and titled and dated verso.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
