A 2002 oil on canvas painting by the American artist Mae Alice Engron (1942-2007). This colorful work depicts three figures with colorful bodies with botanical designs as well as white mask-like faces. Signed to the lower left, the painting is displayed in a black wooden frame and is also signed and dated to the verso.

Indiana artist Mae Alice Engron attended Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, Indiana, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1984. One of the few black female abstract painters of her time, Engron was the featured artist in many Indianapolis exhibitions during her career. Her works are included in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Pepsico, and the Indiana State Museum.
