A 1971 limited edition lithograph and colored offset print by German artist Otmar Alt (born 1940). A red creature-like design is depicted in the center of the composition with abstract shapes and vibrant colors surrounding it. The print is outlined with a thick black border and is signed, dated, and numbered 4/100 to the bottom edge.
Otmar Alt is known for his childlike style, inspired by artists Joan Miro and Paul Klee. Alt studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and worked in Berlin for many years as a set designer. His work is in the collections of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, and the Deutsches Freimaurer Museum.
