Ulrica Hydman Kosta Boda “Tulipa” Glass Vase

A "Tulipa" glass vase designed by Swedish artist Ulrica Hydman (1938-2018) for Swedish glass company Kosta Boda. Made in Sweden, the vase features and hand-painted design of a white tulip with undulating green stem and leaves. The vase is marked “Kosta Boda Ulrica HV 7040460” to the underside in addition to being marked with a Kosta Boda sticker near the rim.
Ulrica Hydman Vallien specialized in stained glass and spent some time working for Kosta Boda. She was one of only 50 artists to be selected in designing pieces for British Airways. Today, her work in found in museums worldwide, including the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, and more.
