Katherine Garrity Signed "Fulgarite Artist" Biomorphic Art Glass Sculptures

A set of three biomorphic art glass sculptures titled Fulgarite Artist by the American artist Katherine Garrity (1988-2022). Three curvy sculptures in varying sizes appear to sprout upwards in frosted green glass. Splatters of white decorate the surface of the sculptures. Each piece is signed to the underside. This work was featured in a 2012 exhibition Indiana's Emerging Glass Artists, where Garrity was awarded Best in Show and a solo exhibition.
Katherine Garrity earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a specialization in blown-glass from Ball State University. She became a Certified Surgery Technician through Indiana University and supported herself as a traveling surgery technician. Additionally, Garrity taught at the Indianapolis Arts Center and was a substitute teacher for Carmel Clay School Corporation during her life.

3.5” W x 9” H x 3.5” D (shortest); 3” W x 10.5” H x 2.5” D (medium); 4” W x 12.75” H x 3” D (tallest).
Condition notes:
Some scuffs and scratches present, most notable to underside. Some discoloration to glass. Chip in the medium-sized sculpture to one of the openings. The smallest sculpture’s signature is mostly worn off.
