Anthony Lewis Popcheff 1989 “After Midnite” Oil on Canvas Painting

A 1989 oil on canvas painting titled After Midnite by the American artist Anthony Lewis Popcheff (1954-2003). This abstract work depicts a laser show on canvas, full of neon beams in shades of pink, blue, yellow, and purple. A cloud of fog dances across the bottom of the composition. This work is signed, dated, and titled verso and is unframed.

Anthony "Tony" Lewis Popcheff was born in Colorado and was a self employed artist. He graduated from John Herron School of art in 1985 and had a thirty year affiliation with Editions Limited and Alliance Gallery Indianapolis Museum of Art.
