A 1980 limited edition photograph by the American photographer Bruce Cratsley (1944-1998). Titled Louvre Window, Paris, this image captures a window in the Louvre as it casts a stark shade against a nearby wall. Signed, dated, and titled verso, the photograph is also numbered III/XXXV to verso. The photograph is unframed.

Bruce Cratsley was an American photographer that graduated from Swarthmore College in 1966. He worked as a gallerist for 20 years, before becoming a full-time photographer in 1986. In 1988, Cratsley was awarded with a Guggenheim Fellowship. Cratsley followed the LGBTQA+ scene in New York throughout the AIDS epidemic, capturing important cultural events including the New York City LGBT Pride March and the first Wigstock. Today, his works belong in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Harvard Art Library.
