A 2021 mixed media assemblage titled, Abstract Change, by Indianapolis artist Steve Redman (born 1944). Various pieces of framing wire are attached at random upon a colorful, airbrushed ground accented by faint black and white line detail. The assemblage is signed “REDMAN 21” to the bottom right corner and presented in a wood frame.
Born in Poseyville, Indiana, Steve Redman's artistic journey began with an unwavering certainty that can only be described as destiny. Redman attended the John Herron Art Institute for his BFA, Indiana University Bloomington for his MFA, and currently owns and operates his business, Redman Art Restoration. His work has been exhibited throughout the wider Indianapolis area, Chicago, New York, Provincetown, and more, receiving numerous accolades.
