David Hockney style figures in the foreground observe the sculpture while Michelangelo sits on a chair. Signed to the bottom right corner, this painting is displayed in a wooden frame.
Dr. Bernard Widen was a dentist and artist from Chicago. Widen attended the University of Illinois and Loyola University and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. At age 65, Widen began painting and exhibiting his work in the greater Chicago area.
