An abstract monoprint, titled Frozen Lake, by American artist Ed Funk (1953-2013). This print features abstract patterns and designs in blue, green, red, and black. Displayed in a silver tone metal frame against a white mat, this piece is signed to the lower right and titled to the lower left.
Ed Funk graduated from Herron School of Art and Design in 1988. In 1995, Funk purchased Dolphin Papers, an art supply store that was located in Fountain Square. Funk helped to establish First Fridays in the area and is remembered as encouraging other artists in his community, despite their skill level.
