A 1949 limited edition coastal etching by Fuji Nakamizo (Japanese-American; 1889-1950). This piece features a rocky shoreline surrounded by crasing waves. A small boat can be seen in the distance. This print is held in a black frame against a white mat.

Born in Fukuiken, Japan in 1889, Fuji Nakamizo moved to New York City in 1910. It was there that he studied at the Art Students' League and the Cooper Union Art School, among other art institutions. In 1934, his work was exhibited at the Pennsylvania of Fine Arts and the Montross Gallery in New York City as a solo show. Currently, his work is represented in the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
