A 1961 watercolor and ink painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This vibrant work depicts an array of various shapes painted in yellow, red, and orange. Signed and dated near the center of the work, the painting is displayed in a silver tone metal frame and an off-white mat.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
