An abstract cast iron sculpture by Indiana artist Jim Barnes. This linear sculpture is sculpted with undulating ridges and edges on each side that terminate to an inverted "V"  base. The sculpture is signed "J.B. 2021" to the underside. The cast iron sculpture rests atop a handcrafted wooden base. 

Jim Barnes graduated from Ball State University with an undergraduate degree in Industrial Education Technology and for years has worked in teaching and engineering-related fields. As an artist, he is currently known for his larger-than-life Pop Art sculptures including public and private installations throughout the Midwest.

4” x 31” x 3” (sculpture); 8.5" x 7" x 8.5" (base).

Condition notes:

Patina, discoloration, and other wear present. Rust and wear appropriate to age and weathering present. Natural cracks in the wooden base.
