A limited edition lithograph by the German artist Peter Paul (born 1943). Titled Inverted Dome, the print depicts the interior of a dome with windows around the edges and is a primarily white composition with grid lines lightly visible across it. The piece is signed on the lower right and is numbered 18/100 to the lower left. The print is unframed.
Paul studied at the Institute of Fine Arts in Berlin and Hamburg during the 1960s. While a student, he studied under David Hockney, Allen Jones, and Paul Wunderlich. After studying at the Institute of Fine Arts in Hamburg, Paul taught graphic art there from 1969 to 1974. In 1974, he won the Prize of Rome and in 1991, a retrospective of his work was held at the Deutschland Kunstverein in Augsburg, Germany.
