Hagen-Renaker Black Bisque Ceramic Cat

An abstract, stylized cat produced by California company Hagen-Renaker in 1959. This matte black and teal feline is a part of the Black Bisque series. The streamlined body of the animal accentuates their long neck and pointed, flat face. Incised wavy lines create eyes, whiskers, and bodily detail. The teal glaze on the back and neck is glossy and textured.
