A 1959 ink drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled Ginger in My Studio, this abstract work depicts Ginger, Hilson's dog, surrounded by black dot accents. Titled, signed, and dated along the center and the left, the drawing is displayed in a wooden frame and cream mat.

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.

Condition notes:

Age appropriate wear. Scratches and scuffs to the frame. Some foxing to the paper. Pinhole to the paper to the upper right corner. Some creases to the paper to the lower right corner.
