A 1984 abstract mixed media drawing by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Signed and dated to the top right and titled Miami City Plan to the top left, this work features abstract blue and peach-colored city plan forms layered with abstract ink, color pencil, and watercolor markings. The piece is framed in a white mat and a wooden gold tone frame.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
