A 1980s acrylic on paper diptych painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This diptych depicts an abstracted landscape scene in blue, green, and yellow. Unframed, the first panel is signed to the lower left hilson 1" and the second panel is signed to the lower right "hilson 2."
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
