An abstract ink drawing by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). The drawing depicts the artist and his dog, Ginger, in his studio. In the drawing, Hilson reaches down to pet the pooch while appearing deep in thought. Signed to the lower right corner, the drawing is displayed in a white frame with a white mat. 

Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios were found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
