A mixed media painting and collage on canvas by the American artist Anthony Lewis Popcheff (1954-2003). This vibrant abstract work depicts a segmented landscape with rectangular areas of sky, hills, and clouds. Collaged images are located throughout the work. Unsigned, the painting is displayed in a black wooden frame.
Anthony "Tony" Lewis Popcheff was born in Colorado and was a self employed artist. He graduated from John Herron School of art in 1985 and had a thirty year affiliation with Editions Limited and Alliance Gallery Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Some scuffs to painting and frame. Small dent near center edge. Minor staining to bottom right section of painting.
