Anthony Louis Popcheff Mixed Media Painting and Print on Paper

A mixed media painting and print on paper by the American artist Anthony Louis Popcheff (1954-2003). This abstract work is dominated by gray scrawling textured marks with a vibrant red square to the bottom right of the piece. The painting is unframed and is unsigned.

Anthony "Tony"  Louis Popcheff was born in Colorado and was a self employed artist. He graduated from John Herron School of art in 1985 and had a thirty year affiliation with Editions Limited and Alliance Gallery Indianapolis Museum of Art.
