A 1966 watercolor and ink painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This work depicts a nude male figure riding a horse with a fist upraised. Signed and dated to the center left, the work is displayed in a blue and gold tone wooden frame and a cream mat.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
